Parks Design Open House Set For Thursday

The second open house will kick off at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at Johns Creek City Hall.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- If you missed the first opportunity to weigh in on the design of the city's proposed pocket parks, you will soon have another chance to give your opinion.

The city's Public Works Department and Recreation and Parks Division will host a second open house from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 at Johns Creek City Hall.

Staff members will share information about the design for Johns Creek's five newest parks.

Attendees can drop in at any time during the open house. Design teams will be present to solicit public input into the design for the pocket parks located at State Bridge, Morton Road, and Bell at Boles; the linear park in Technology Park; and for the 133-acre Cauley Creek park land.

The open house will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, which is located at 12000 Findley Road.
