JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Pie Wars, a student led initiative at River Trail Middle School in Johns Creek, raised over $1,500 for Relay for Life.

Students and staff donated money all week for the cause, which involved six teachers and two assistant principals who agreed to take a pie in the face if they raised the most money.

The “winner” received the lesser amount of money and pied the opposing grade level teacher with a pie.

Relay For Life North Fulton will host its 2016 flagship fundraiser on Saturday, May 14 at Webb Bridge Middle School in Alpharetta.
