Pisgah Football Qualifies for GHSA Playoffs
Patriots finish No. 16 in Power Rankings to qualify.
The Mount Pisgah varsity football team will make its first-ever appearance in the GHSA playoffs this season after finishing No. 16 in the Class A Private School Power Rankings. The Patriots (6-4) edge out Whitefield Academy for the last spot.
"It's great! It's great for the kids, great for the school and great for the community. It's just a great feeling," Head Coach Doug Dixon said shortly after the playoff bracket was finalized. "We get to start the second season right now."
The Patriots will travel to No. 1 ranked Athens Academy (10-0) on Friday, Nov. 23.
