Pisgah Middle School Girls Capture NAML Championship

Team finishes season 11-3.

The Mount Pisgah Christian School Middle School girls basketball team defeated Eastside 29-15 on Saturday to capture the North Atlanta Metro League (NAML) championship. The squad was led by sixth-grader Devyn Lowe who finished with 16 points. Fellow sixth-grader Paige Peterson added nine points.

“The girl’s really worked hard this season and I am very proud of them right now,” head coach Keisha O’Hearn said after the game. “I had fun and I think they [the team] did too. Everyone greatly improved from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.”

The Lady Patriots were the top seed and defeated Mount Paran 30-11 in the semifinals. The team finished the season 11-3.
