'Planner After Hours' Brings Zoning Resources to Johns Creek Residents

Starting Jan. 20, the city's monthly program will be held every third Tuesday of the month from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Do you want to learn more about pending zoning cases or have questions about installing a fence? You can get answers to your questions during the city of Johns Creek’s Planner After Hours a monthly program designed as a planning and zoning resource for residents and businesses.

Staff with the city’s Community Development Department will be available to the public on the third Tuesday of every month from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the Taylor Farms Conference Room, which is located on the third floor of Johns Creek City Hall.

The first installment of the series will be Tuesday, Jan. 20.

“The city of Johns Creek is always looking for ways to improve service delivery for our citizens,” said Justin Kirouac, interim director of Community Development. “Hopefully, the Planner After Hours program will allow greater citizen interaction with the Community Development Department and open up additional lines of communication for those that cannot travel to city hall during normal business hours.”

All active zoning case files will be available for perusal and the forum can be used for everything from discussions on pending zoning cases to questions about permitting. This time period, however, is not designed to have active debate and is not a substitute for community zoning meetings.
