Police Arrest Johns Creek Entering Auto Suspects

Johns Creek police say the suspects stole cash, a wallet and a firearm from vehicles parked at St. Ives Country Club.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Four men from Arkansas were arrested and charged with breaking into vehicles earlier this month at St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek.

Each of the incidents were reported around 12:36 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, according to incident reports released by the Johns Creek Police Department.

In one report, the passenger side vehicle of a Honda Accord had been shattered and about $300 from a bank bag was taken from the car.

"The witness stated that the black male wearing the baseball cap went into the vehicle and removed the bag," the report states, noting the witness said the male removed something from the bag and tossed that bag back into the vehicle (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Another vehicle in the parking lot, a Nissan Titan pickup truck, also had its rear passenger side window destroyed by the alleged thieves. The owner of the vehicle told police his wallet containing cash, credit cards and a driver's licence and a Beretta 92F 9 millimeter pistol were removed from the center console, according to the report.

The front passenger window of a third vehicle, a 2013 Kia Forte, also was shattered, but nothing was taken from the car, the owner of the vehicle told police.

Witnesses told police they saw the men leave the parking lot in a silver passenger vehicle, bearing a New York license plate, traveling towards Medlock Bridge Road.

Police were able to track down the alleged thieves, who are all from Little Rock, Arkansas. Two of the men, Sharwin Stuckey and Christopher Lamar Curenton, both 19, were booked into the Fulton County Jail on three counts each of entering auto.

Joe Juniel and Datrietch Dandre Woods, both 20, were each charged with three counts of entering auto and one count of fugitive from justice. Woods faces an additional count of interfering with government property.

Juniel and Woods are being held without bond while Stuckey has a $60,000 bond and Currenton a $30,000 bond. As of Thursday afternoon, jail records show all four men remain at the facility.
