Police Need Help ID'ing Suspect in Theft of 89-Year-Old Johns Creek Man

Suspect has used checks at Walmart.

The Johns Creek Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in the theft of personal checks from an 89-year-old victim.

The suspect stole the checks sometime between Feb. 2 and Feb. 11 from the victim’s Johns Creek residence and has used them to make purchases at several metro-Atlanta Walmart stores, including Lilburn, Loganville, Lithonia and Rome.  Video surveillance from the stores show a white male purchasing items with the stolen checks.

It is believed that the suspect gained access to the elderly victim’s residence while working as a health care provider.
