Want a dog that knows how to have fun? Then meet the Fulton Animal Services Pets of the Week: Sarah, Loona and Piper.

LifeLine Animal Project's Healthy Pets events help pet owners receive needed services for their beloved pets. This month, a total of 714 pets received free vaccines, microchips, food, collars and more at our Healthy Pets Fulton and Healthy Pets DeKalb events. LifeLine also provided pet education and successfully signed up 269 pets for free spay/neuter services at the LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinics.
Community outreach is one of the foundations for our work in transforming Atlanta into a no-kill city. In helping underserved communities receive much needed support and services, they are able to keep the pets they love with their families and most importantly, out of the shelters. LifeLine’s Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Sarah, Loona and Piper
Our first Pet of the Week us fun, fun, fun! Sarah is a playful two-year-old girl who knows how to have a good time. She loves to act silly, play with her friends and zoom around the play yard at top speed! If you’re looking for a dog to brighten up your life, Sarah will do the job. She is always smiling and her happiness is contagious. Because Sarah came from a home where she was neglected, she is heartworm positive. However, with treatment, she’ll be good as new, and her adoption fee will be waived if treated here. She is already spayed, vaccinated microchipped and ready to leave with you today!

Our next pet is also a ton of fun! Meet Loona, a very sweet and social girl who weighs 45 pounds and is two year’s old. Loona is super friendly and great with kids. She was recently taken out of the shelter as part of our “Dog for the Day” program, and she had perfect manners while hanging out on a restaurant patio. The volunteer said Loona loves kissing strangers, rolling around in the grass and riding in the car. Loona is also heartworm positive, but her treatment will be paid for by one of her fans. She would make a great addition to any family!
Our third Pet of the Week is Piper. This 87 pound sweet girl was found with her best friend, a 12 pound Chihuahua named Pedro, inside a hotel room. Piper and Pedro are an adorable pair who sleep curled up together every night. Piper loves people and is great with everyone, including kids. She is also very smart and is not only house trained, but also knows her basic commands. If you are looking for a large, well-behaved, intelligent dog who has a large heart to match her size, then Piper may be the perfect match for you. She is already spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, so she can go home with you today.
Come meet Sarah, Loona or Piper and take advantage of our "Pick a May Flower" promotion, where any dog over 25 pounds may be adopted for only $20, including their spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines. Simply drop by the shelter, email adoptions@fultonanimalservices.com or call 404-613-0357.
