Project THINK PINK to host 3rd annual gala Saturday, Nov. 5

Student-run club gears up for evening of inspirational stories, pink carpet reception, light bites, cocktails, dancing and more!

Project THINK PINK, a student-run club founded in 2012 by a group of girls at Taylor Road Middle School in Johns Creek, is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Project Think Pink Gala to raise money for breast cancer research. On Saturday, Nov. 5, guests of all ages are invited to “think pink” and enjoy an evening at The Venetian Room in Atlanta to celebrate women’s health and promote awareness for the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. The gala will feature inspirational stories, a special pink carpet reception, light bites, cocktails, dancing and more. Attendees are encouraged to put on their best black tie attire with a pop of pink!

Cofounded by Cecily Mohammed and Nia Ratliff, middle school students at the time, Project THINK PINK has raised funds, hosted a variety of fundraisers and participated in four breast cancer awareness walks to help find a cure for cancer. Project THINK PINK current members are founder Cecily Mohammed, president Melis Demir, Forsyth County cofounders Julia Siegel and Alexa Marmion, and chair for the Real Men Wear PINK chapter of Project THINK PINK, Christopher Jordan, a senior at Friendship Christian School in Cumming.
