Public Hearing For FY 2016 Budget Set For Tuesday

A public hearing to allow residents to provide feedback on Johns Creek’s proposed fiscal year 2016 budget will be held on Tuesday.

The hearing will take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 during the City Council’s meeting. The meeting will be on the third floor at City Hall, which is located at 12000 Findley Road.
The estimated $53.4 million budget will be for the city’s fiscal year that runs from Oct. 1, 2015, to Sept. 30, 2016.

It includes funding for transportation and infrastructure improvements, recreation and parks projects and public safety enhancements, just to name a few.
The City Council is scheduled to adopt the budget following the public hearing on Sept. 28. That public hearing will also be held at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
