Registration Opens For Chattahoochee Junior Cheerleading

Registration for the Chattahoochee Junior Cougars Cheerleading program is now open for students looking to partake in a new activity or continue a favorite pastime.

A parent information meeting for the program has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek.

Rising third- through eighth-grade students can register for tryouts at hoochcheer.com. Tryouts are March 31 and April 1 for all rising sixth- through eighth-grade students.

The cheer teams for 2015 include:

• Sideline cheer: Rising third through eighth-graders for fall 2015
• Competition cheer: one team for rising sixth- through eighth-graders

Other important dates include:

• June 15-16: mandatory camp for competition team
• July 24-25: mandatory camps for sixth- through eighth-grade teams
• July 27-30: mandatory camps for all teams (third through eighth grade)
