Report: C. Wonder Closes Avalon Store

Along with its store in Alpharetta, the company also had a location at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in Woodstock.

C. Wonder, a women’s clothing store that stormed onto the fashion scene in 2011, has announced plans to shut down its operations, including its location in Alpharetta.

According to Business Insider, the company’s 11 stores are set to close in the coming weeks.

C. Wonder opened its second Georgia location at Avalon, the $600 million mixed used development along Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta. It’s first store opened in the the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in Woodstock.

Liana Moran of The Wilbert Group, which serves as a public relations firm for Avalon developer North American Properties, confirmed to Patch the business has closed its Alpharetta branch.

The brainchild of entrepreneur J. Christopher Burch, founder and CEO of Burch Creative Capital, C. Wonder offered women’s clothing, footwear, jewelry and accessories; housewares and home decor and great gifts.

The company’s design teams created a wide-ranging assortment of versatile products for every aspect of their customers’ lives, C. Wonder previously said in its press release announcing its opening in Alpharetta.
