Residents Can Now Register Their Pooches For Pup-a-Palooza

If this fits your dog’s profile, then Johns Creek wants you to consider registering him or her for best-dressed and best trick contests for Pup-a-Palooza, a celebration of our canine companions.

Registration kicked off Aug. 1 for the event, which will be held Sept. 12.

In addition to the contests, the puppy party includes live music, caricature sketches of people with their furry best friends. For the humans, there will be free food while it lasts.

Pet care vendors are invited to set up a booth or demonstrate new products and educate dog owners about pet care. Vendor registration also begins Aug. 1 and runs through Sept. 4.

Vendor Details:

  • Vendors must provide their own table and chairs. Maximum 8-foot table length.
  • Only vendors approved to sell products may do so.
  • General liability insurance may be required.
  • The vendor fee is $50.

The event will take place at Newtown Park Amphitheater, which is at 3150 Old Alabama Road. For more information, contact the Recreation and Parks Division at 678-512-3200.
