Hooch Senior Signs With Furman University

Lauren Rysdon will play lacrosse at Furman University.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Chattahoochee High School's Lauren Rysdon has signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse for Furman University. Furman is a NCAA Division l school and competes in the SoCon Conference.

Rysdon is a four-year varsity player and three-year starter. She has been an Academic Athlete throughout her high school years. In addition to lacrosse, Rysdon is a three-year varsity swimmer for Chattahoochee High School's swim team. Prior to her junior year, Rysdon was selected to play for Team Georgia at the Brine National Tournament in Richmond, VA.

She also played club lacrosse for X Team and Lax Maniax throughout middle school and high school. Rysdon chose to play at Furman University because it offers everything she wants for her college experience: excellent academics, amazing and positive coaches, and a great team camaraderie.
