Sister Hazel To Perform In Johns Creek
The alternative rock band will perform Aug. 4 as part of the city's Summer Concert Series.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek will play host to Sister Hazel on Saturday, Aug. 4 as part of its Summer Concert Series at Newtown Park. This alternative rock band will take the stage at 7 p.m. at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater.
Hailing from Gainesville, Florida, Sister Hazel is made up of five musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called “one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years” by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Song “All for You” topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and the success propelled their album to platinum status.
The Band's most recent release, “Water,” a six-track EP is Volume I of a collectible compilation series titled, “Elements,” and includes a bonus seventh track that will continue throughout the series. Water debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Country Album chart and No. 2 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart.

The city's concerts are free, and gates will open at 6 p.m. Wesley Cook is set to open the show at 7 p.m. Of course, you are encouraged to bring a picnic from home or enjoy food from the Cattywampus Grill, Let’s Taco ‘Bout It, and King of Pops food trucks. Hurricane Grill will be on-site serving cold beer and wine.

For those looking for a little more room, you can purchase round tables, for up to eight people, under the amphitheater by calling 678-512-3200 or visiting the city's website.
