South Main Kitchen opened in downtown Alpharetta Monday night.
Owner Louis Soon, former general manager at Salt Factory, Little Alley Steak, and his chef, Christy Stone, is presenting “a healthy take on modern American comfort food,” according to the Eater.

But not only is the food comforting, the interior decor of the restaurant also offers a cozy setting.

“Here at South Main Kitchen we focus on the artistry of food and how it sparks conversation -- bringing people closer to one another,” the restaurant’s Facebook page reads. “We encourage our executive chef and sous chef, along with the staff to follow their passion, giving them the freedom to be different.”
The restaurant is located at 9 South Main St. in Alpharetta.
Hours are:
- Monday to Thursday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: noon to 9 p.m.
