JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The city of Johns Creek won’t allow its special needs citizens and their families to miss out on the fun of Easter egg hunting.

The city will host its popular event catering to these residents from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. March 20 at Newtown Park. The egg hunt will start promptly at 1 p.m., and hunters and their families are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
The Egg Hunt is designed for individuals with special needs, of all ages and abilities, and their families. The special guests will enjoy a fun spring afternoon with games, activities, an egg hunt and -- of course -- a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

The city’s Recreation and Parks Division sponsors the free event at the Park Place event lawn at Newtown Park featuring more than 1,000 eggs, most of which are filled with candy and toys.
Post-hunt activities include food, games and photos with the Easter Bunny. Egg hunters should bring their own baskets, and parents should bring their own cameras.
