SSS makes a varied menu of both savory and sweet scones in modern, creative flavors like fig and goat cheese, mushroom and Swiss, bacon, cheddar and chive, and Buffalo chicken. In addition to scones, the bakery will serve “sconewiches (sandwiches with a scone base),” soups, salads and specialty items.
“We are looking forward to finally opening our doors and sharing our take on scones,” said Hala Yassine, owner and chef. “We will also be introducing our new product, sconewiches. We use a savory scone mix is used to make bread and then fill it with tasty combinations such as egg and cheddar cheese; turkey, avocado and bacon; and Brie with caramelized onions.”
Started by Yassine, the fourth of nine children, SSS has gained a substantial following in five different farmers markets across Atlanta. The Johns Creek shop is the company’s first retail location.
The celebration will feature free scone and coffee samples, kids activities and music. Samples will be available while supplies last.
