This checklist is a tool that people starting their own business will have access to, and walks them through the process of starting their entrepreneurial journey.

It’s the first time this type of resource has been offered in Johns Creek, and JCA hopes it will assist entrepreneurs in the exciting journey of starting their own business.

The checklist can also be a tool for those businesses looking to expand in their current space, or businesses looking to move from a home-based office to a leased or purchased commercial space.

The checklist is extremely comprehensive and user friendly, with a total of 30 different steps. These steps include everything from developing a name and logo for your business, incorporating your business, completing your business plan, applying for your business license, deciding on a location to operate your business from and hiring employees.

Not to worry, this checklist isn’t just a wordy document; it also includes examples and samples of a business plan, budget, comparisons of the different types of corporate structures available, employee handbook and employee hiring package – just to name a few. Additionally, the checklist has direct links to outside tools, where needed.

Lastly, there is an actual two page checklist so you can check the steps off as you go and make notes in the margins as you work your way through this journey.
