Student Leadership Johns Creek Presents Check To NFCC

A group of students hosted the 5K, Run for Love, with proceeds donated to the North Fulton Community Charities.

From Student Leadership Johns Creek: On Saturday, February 24th, 2018, a group of six students from Chattahoochee High School affiliated with the Student Leaders of Johns Creek hosted the 5K, Run for Love on the Chattahoochee High School track. The run itself was meant to bring the community together and raise money for charity. The proceeds from this 5K were donated to the North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC), a local non-profit that helps those in poverty. The students held both a fundraiser night at Chipotle and teamed up with various sponsors such as the Big Peach Running Co. and the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Georgia in order to prepare for the 5K on the 24th.

In total, the Run for Love group, consisting of Adiva Dutta, Sid Balaga, Emily Guo, Erin Chang, Srija Sengupta, and Emilia Osgoode, managed to raise and donate $430 to the North Fulton Community Charities.
