Summer Concert Series Announced For Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater

The Summer Concert Series begins May 3 with Chicago Rewired, and continues through Oct. 5 featuring Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The Mark Burkhalter Park Amphitheater provides a delightful venue for the city-sponsored Summer Concerts.

2019 Concert Dates:

  • Friday, May 3 - Chicago Rewired (Chicago Tribute Band)
  • Friday, May 31 - Uptown Funk (Bruno Mars Tribute Band)
  • Saturday, Aug. 3 - Edwin McCain
  • Saturday, Sept. 7 - TRIBUTE – a celebration of The Allman Brothers Band & thE Core: Clapton Live
  • Saturday, Oct. 5 - Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra

Location: Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater, 3150 Old Alabama Road

Designed to utilize natural elements, the soaring structure features stacked stone and arches of southern pine. The 10,600 square-foot open-air amphitheater seats up to 400 under cover, and another 1,000 on the terraced grass lawn surrounding the venue.

The Amphitheater was engineered to accommodate a wide-range of musical genres from acoustic performances to symphony orchestras. While food and non-alcoholic drinks may be brought in, contracted vendors provide a variety of catered food and beverages for public events, including beer and wine. The Amphitheater is available for private events and corporate events.

Food trucks will be on-site. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Concerts are rain or shine. In the case of rain, attendees are welcome to bring umbrellas. No pop-up tents, please. If we experience lightning or severe weather, we may delay the start of the concert or evacuate if necessary.
