Summer Concerts Continue July 22 In Johns Creek

The Stooges Brass Band and the AJ Ghent Band will take the stage at 7 p.m. at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Organizers behind Johns Creek's Summer Concert series at Newtown Park are excited to welcome the Stooges Brass Band as well as the AJ Ghent Band to the city on Saturday, July 22.

Residents are invited to bring their friends and families to the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater for the show, which starts at 7 p.m.

The Stooges Brass Band consistently provides a welcome blast of true New Orleans spirit, engaging audiences with their innovative blend of traditional brass sounds, contemporary jazz and hip-hop beats.

Also gracing the stage will be AJ Ghent Band. Ghent constructs an indie-rock sound howling from the church to the blues. His style can be defined as fresh, nostalgic, electrifying and rootsy, fusing the sounds blues, funk, hip-hop and a sprinkle of EDM together into a genre he likes to call neo blues.

Concerts are free to attend and the gates will open at 6 p.m. For the July concert, the food truck Cattywampus Grill will be on-site and King of Pops with their sweet frozen treats.

Hurricane Grill will also be on-site serving cold beer and wine. For those looking for a little more room, you can purchase round tables, for up to eight people, under the amphitheater by calling 678-512-3200.
