Summer Kick-Off Picnic For Special Needs Residents On Saturday
The city of Johns Creek's event will be held May 14 at the Park Place Event Lawn at Newtown Park.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Local families in and around Johns Creek who have a family member with a disability or special need are invited to join the city in kicking off the summer season.
The Johns Creek Summer Kick-off Picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the Park Place Event Lawn at Newtown Park.
The Hawaiian-themed event, sponsored by Great Prospects and Johns Creek Civitans, will feature games, music, food, prizes and other activities.

Festivities are open to all ages and, if you're so inclined, be sure to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt.
While the event is free, residents are asked to RSVP by emailing Johns Creek Recreation Manager Kirk Franz at kirk.franz@johnscreekga.gov.
