Touch-A-Truck Comes To Johns Creek

This free event, which allows children to explore the equipment that make the city run, will be held May 21 at Newtown Park.

On Saturday, local kids will be able to explore front-end loaders, backhoes, fire trucks and other heavy equipment at the Johns Creek Touch-a-Truck event.

This event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon May 21 at Newtown Park.

Along with learning more about the trucks and equipment that make the city run, youngsters can enjoy children’s activities, such as bounce houses, face painting, a giant sandbox with toy trucks and races.

Free hot dogs and water will be available while they last. The first 100 kids to arrive will also receive a free safety vest.

The event is sponsored by the Johns Creek Public Works Department, and parking and admission are both free.

Newtown Park is located at 3150 Old Alabama Road.
