Truck Damages Floorboards On Barnwell Road Boardwalk
The city of Johns Creek has closed structure at the Barnwell/Jones Bridge road curve so repairs can be made.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Damage caused by a vehicle has forced the city of Johns Creek to close a portion of the Barnwell Road boardwalk.
A truck damaged a segment of the floorboards on the structure, and the city has closed the boardwalk at the Barnwell/Jones Bridge road curve.
City spokesperson Jeff Breslau said public works crews are "in the process of making repairs as fast as possible" to the damaged caused by a lowboy trailer.

"(I'm) not sure how long it will take," he added. "Hopefully, not more than a week or two."
