Turn Lane Extension Project Wraps Up In Johns Creek

Crews extended the westbound turn lane by a quarter-mile on State Bridge Road at Medlock Bridge Road.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- A project designed to improve traffic flow at a major Johns Creek intersection is now complete.

The city said Monday that the westbound turn-lane extension on State Bridge Road at Medlock Bridge Road have wrapped up.

Crews extended the right-turn lane on State Bridge by a quarter-mile by removing stripes at Camden Way and concrete barriers at the entrance to the Medlock Corners shopping center. Those crews also took out part of a median to extend a left turn lane from State Bridge Road onto southbound Medlock Bridge Road.
