Upcoming Red Cross Blood Drives In Johns Creek Area

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The Red Cross urges eligible people to make a blood donation as the busy holiday season approaches.

The current blood supply is the lowest the Red Cross has reported this time of year in more than a decade.

At least 10,000 donations are needed per week for the next several weeks to meet demand across the U.S. Donations typically slow during the holiday season.

People who give blood between Nov. 1-12 will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Hawaii, courtesy of Amazon Prime Video. The trip includes round-trip airfare, nine nights of hotel accommodations, a $1,000 gift card for expenses and transportation with tour stops.

Those who donate between Nov. 1-23 will receive a $10 Amazon gift card, courtesy of Amazon.
