Perimeter School will host their 22nd annual Veterans Day program on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, honoring all Veterans of the Armed Forces.

The students and faculty will be rolling out the red carpet for veterans to express appreciation for their service. The speaker will be Capt. Tommy Clack of the US Army (Ret.), who served for three years and was seriously injured in Vietnam. Clack was declared dead initially, and yet survived after 33 surgeries. He has an inspiring story of courage and fear.

The Perimeter Veterans Day Program is a community event, open to the public. The purpose of this program is to honor and celebrate the service and sacrifice of our American Veterans, as well as to provide a legacy of honor and history for students and the people in their greater Atlanta community. Last year, over 2,400 people attended the program with more than 230 veterans from all branches of the military.
