Voters Head To The Polls For Runoff Election
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1 to resolve three races for the Johns Creek City Council.

Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday to have the final say in Johns Creek’s municipal and special runoff elections.

Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1 for the runoffs, which are required when the top two candidates receive no more than 50 percent of the votes cast.
Two of the races involve Post 2. One race, which features candidqtes Todd Burkhalter and Chris Coughlin, fills an unexpired term that ends Dec. 31, 2015. The seat was vacated by Brad Raffensperger, who ran for state Senate.

The second race, which features Coughlin and fellow candidate Jay Lin, is a full four-year term that starts in January.
The third race, for Post 5, involves candidates Nazeera Dawood and Stephanie Endres, who are vying to fill the unexpired term of Kelly Stewart. Stewart also resigned to run for state Senate.
That term expires Dec. 31, 2017.
