Wake up citizens of Johns Creek!

Environmental Devastation happening everyday in our town

To the very few of you who are involved with watching the city council of Johns Creek over the years, I applaud you. The operative words above are "to the very few"

Our native forests are being cut down every day. Have you investigated why this is being allowed to happen? Have you supported those few of us who are actually trying to stop it? Please. Go to the city council make meetings and voice your thoughts. It won't do any good at the beginning but maybe over time enough of us step up, we can stop this devastation. The developers have their hands in the pockets of certain people whose names I will not mention but they've admitted it. Actually admitted that they take money from developers. I couldn't believe it.

You see, I have been saving native plants and forests for 60 years now. I take it personally when acre after acre is cut down in a day. I know the animals have nowhere to go. So they're in your backyards; they're in the streets getting killed each night. What are you doing about it? Your children are seeing this devastation. It is a debacle. When I'm out in the community here, I hear people practically crying in disbelief when the acreage next door to them has been mowed down without a thought to the plants and animals that live there. Or to their peace of mind.
