Walk With A Doc Set For Saturday In Johns Creek

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The City of Johns Creek and Emory Johns Creek Hospital are encouraging Johns Creek residents to take a step toward better health with Walk with a Doc. The program brings doctors and patients together to walk and learn, with the next walk at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Newtown Park at the Veterans Memorial Walk.

The walks will continue on the second Saturday of each month.

Every walk will feature a different health topic; each selected to provide information and the opportunity for walkers to ask questions one-on-one with the participating physician.

Walk With A Doc is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country.
