What's Open, Closed For Christmas, New Year's Day in Johns Creek

Residents who may need to take care of some last-minute issues with the city of Johns Creek and other local government agencies will have a short window of opportunity to do so this week.

That’s because city offices will be closed on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Operations will return to a normal schedule on Monday, Dec. 28. However, city operations will once again close Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 for New Year’s Day.

The Fulton County School System, including all schools and administrative offices, will be closed for the winter break between Dec. 21 and Jan. 1. Administrative offices and schools will re-open Jan. 4, with teacher workdays planned for Jan. 4-5. Classes resume for second semester on January 6.

Fulton County administrative offices will also be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will close its branches Dec. 24-25 and will reopen Saturday, Dec. 26. It will also close its facilities on New Year’s Day.
