What's Opened, Closed on Thanksgiving Day in Johns Creek

As expected, you won’t be able to get any business you have with the local government out of the way on Thursday and Friday.

That’s because Johns Creek city offices, including City Hall, Municipal Court, Park Place and the Newtown Community Clubhouse, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Park Place will reopen on Saturday while City Hall and Municipal Court will return to a normal schedule on Monday, Nov. 30.

The Newtown Community Clubhouse does not have any fitness classes scheduled this week, so the November/December session will resume the week of Nov. 30, said city spokesperson Doug Nurse.

Additionally, the Ocee and Northeast/Spruill Oaks public library branches in Johns Creek will also be closed on both days. Both libraries will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 28.

Fulton County government offices will also closed Thursday and Friday.

The city of Johns Creek does not provide residential waste collection, so citizens are encouraged to check with their service providers for schedules.
