William Pu Music Academy to Present Showcase Concert

If you haven't yet, make plans to attend an incredible concert, performed by some of the most talented students and faculty from across the Atlanta Metro. This all strings showcase will feature the students and teachers of William Pu Music Academy on Sunday, January 28th at 5:00pm, in the beautiful sanctuary of Johns Creek United Methodist Church. Reception immediately following the performance. No ordinary concert, the performances presented will feature some of the remarkably talented young musicians - many of whom are All States bound - who attend this academy Suzuki level through high school. Imagine listening to a Dvorak string quartet, a Schubert piano quintet, a Bach cello choir, or a full strings orchestra performing Handel, Mascagni, and Tchaikovsky. Imagine that! Now, picture some of those more advanced students performing Mendelssohn's String Octet (in E-flat Major, Op. 20, 1st Movement), joined by some of the most distinguished teachers around. Simply brilliant! This is a wonderful opportunity for all young and aspiring musicians to attend a concert of this stature FREE of charge. The WPMA is also honored to have Mr. Young Kim, a faculty member, as conductor for this concert. Mr. Kim is Director of Orchestras at Johns Creek High School, and an exceptionally talented musician.
