Fourth- and fifth-grade studentsin the Chorus Club at Wilson Creek Elementary School in Johns Creek recently performed the musical “The Wizard of Oz” on March 19 and 20 to sold-out audiences. The musical featured some 100 students who practiced for nearly three months in preparation for the show. Students also performed portions of the musical during the school’s Artist Day activities on March 22.
Chorus Club is an after-school activity at Wilson Creek, comprised of 110 students. The Chorus Club performance was directed by music teacher Leslie Morgan and fourth-grade teacher Alex Lorber, with assistance from music teacher Bronwyn Thomas.
