Celebrating Our Newest Graduates
As the fall semester at Kennesaw State comes to an end this week, it is time to celebrate
a job well done. KSU students have shown tremendous determination and resilience
in this unique time, and we should recognize how impressive it is that they were able
to accomplish so much despite their many challenges.

Above all, I want to congratulate this semester's class of graduates for successfully
completing their degrees. We are welcoming an impressive class of Owls to the ranks
of our distinguished alumni.
The fall graduating class includes nearly 3,000 graduation candidates, with close
to 2,500 earning undergraduate degrees and almost 500 earning graduate degrees. Students
from the newly named Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences are earning the
highest number of undergraduate degrees with just over 700, and the Bagwell College
of Education is conferring the most graduate degrees at slightly more than 140.

As they move to the next phase of their lives, so many of our graduates are starting
exciting careers or continuing into graduate school for additional education. Whether
they will be teaching first-graders at a Georgia elementary school, working at a prominent
national accounting firm, or starting graduate school in operations research, the
newest KSU graduates are already setting a course for success. Their time at Kennesaw
State has given them all the tools they need to become leaders in their chosen fields.
I join Kennesaw State's faculty and staff in wishing the graduates a future filled
with joy and great success. And I remind all of our newest graduates to use #KSUGrads
if they are sharing their photos and stories on social media and to remember that
once an Owl, always an Owl. Please come home to see us often. I am inspired and full
of hope knowing that our future will be in your capable hands.
Congratulations for a job well done!
