Cobb Airport to Receive Customs Infrastructure
The airport will receive a new name as part of the new facilities.

Cobb County’s McCollum Field will soon get a new name and some new infrastructure to accommodate international flights.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the newly-christened Cobb County International Airport McCollum Field will become active on June 25 with the opening of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility on the premises. The facility will be open between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
Customs officials will also help with overflight exemptions and after-hours inspections, the AJC says.
