Saturday, June 11, the Southern Museum and the Kennesaw Historical Society will be sponsoring a lecture entitled "Marietta, Then and Now." The speaker is Joe Kirby, co-author of the book "Then & Now: Marietta Revisited." Joe is the editorial page editor of the Marietta Daily Journal, and the author of the forthcoming book “The Lockheed Plant” by Arcadia. The lecture will take place in the Education Center classrooms of the Southern Museum, and will start at 2 p.m. We recommend parking in the back of the Southern Museum, and entering by the side door of the Education Center. Admission is free. All are welcome.
