"The Great Locomotive Dispute"

On Saturday, April 9, The Southern Museum and the Kennesaw Historical Society will be sponsoring a lecture entitled "The Great Locomotive Dispute."  The speaker is Joe Head, author of the book by the same name.  The presentation will look at the battle in 1967-1970 between the City of Chattanooga and the L&N Railroad over the ownership of the General.  The lecture will take place in the Education Center classrooms of the Southern Museum, and will start at 2 p.m. We recommend parking in the back of the Southern Museum, and entering by the side door of the Education Center.  Admission is free.  All are welcome.
