Explore Your Creative Side
KSU's Continuing Education offers personal programs that will help you tap into your creativity
What do interior design, baking and oil painting have in common? They're all hobbies! If you have a budding artist captured inside, a musician waiting to be heard, or perhaps a philosopher seeking discussion, the personal programs at the College of Continuing and Professional Education at KSU can help you tap your creative side. What hobby would you like to take up this year?
For those with an interest in interior design, instructor Jan Britt is here to help you explore it. Britt is an award-winning interior designer and has been teaching for more than 16 years. She has a rich knowledge and passion that she shares with anyone interested in learning about the field. In this class, students will have the opportunity to learn how to create a storyboard, how to choose colors that complement different moods or personalities, and be able to interact with an interior designer on-site and observe them conducting a consultation.
“I also like to keep my curriculum methods updated since styles change constantly so students can learn about the latest interior design trends,” Britt Said.
