“Mostly Mutts is dedicated to bringing great families together with the pets we rescue, and we are so happy that we were able to place 520 animals in loving homes during 2016,” said Tammy Turley, Executive Director. “Participating in a national adoption event will help Mostly Mutts increase awareness in the community about the number of homeless and abandoned animals, and hopefully encourage more people to visit their local shelters and rescue groups.”
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue holds adoption events every Saturday at Barrett Parkway PetSmart and at its shelter in downtown Kennesaw, and every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at PetSupermarket at Ansley Mall in Atlanta.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue is an active partner in Best Friends No More Homeless Pets® Network which offers help and support to animal rescue groups that save lives in their communities.
Mostly Mutts strives to reduce the number of animals euthanized at local shelters in Metro Atlanta by working with animal control officers to save adoptable dogs that are moments away from being put to sleep. Often, these dogs are sick, injured and require rehabilitation. Mostly Mutts provides housing, health care, training, and physical and emotional care to these rescued animals until they can be placed in a new “furever home.” Since 2004, Mostly Mutts has saved approximately 6,500 animals.
Mostly Mutts is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, licensed by the Dept. of Agriculture and staffed by volunteers. It is privately funded through donations and adoption fees.
