Help Beautify Historic Kennesaw Cemetery

Community members are invited to join the Kennesaw Cemetery Preservation Committee to help beautify the city's historic cemetery on Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the annual Decoration Day, volunteers help maintain and improve the downtown plot.

“Each year, we show our respect for those that have passed by sprucing up family gravesites, planting flowers, and cleaning grave markers,” said Mary Hagin, Committee chair and Decoration Day coordinator. “It is a day of friendship and fellowship as we honor our heritage.”

Cleaning materials, except for gloves, will be supplied. Free lunch and drinks will also be provided. for photos from last year's event.
