Kennesaw State University Foundation Recognizes George Johnson with Exceptional Customer Service Award

The foundation awarded more than $156,000 in funds recognizing faculty and staff

Facilities Assistant George Johnson has been recognized by the Kennesaw State University Foundation for his outstanding service. Johnson was awarded the Exceptional Customer Service Award during the Opening of the University on August 11.

"We are thrilled George won the award,” said Continuing Education Dean Barbara Calhoun. “Our team appreciates George’s friendliness and dedication to his job. He truly goes above and beyond. We are incredibly proud of him. Customer service is paramount to our college and the university. We are delighted to take part in recognizing these accomplishments.”

The Exceptional Customer Service Award recognizes a staff member who consistently and substantially demonstrates an ability and willingness to work positively, respectfully and effectively with colleagues and members of the campus community. Johnson’s ability to manage changes in work priorities, procedures, and organization to ultimately provide better service is exemplary.
