KSU Gets Approval to Purchase Defunct BrandsMart USA Site
The $12.55 million purchase will allow the school to convert the building into a student health center, provide extra lab space, and more.

Kennesaw State University has been given formal approval by the Georgia Board of Regents to purchase the former BrandsMart USA store at 3305 Busbee Drive.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the school plans to convert the building into a new student health center and create more laboratory and storage space as well. Additionally, KSU will have 720 new parking spaces with its $12.55 million purchase of the entire 16.75 acre BrandsMart USA site.
KSU President Daniel Papp told the Chronicle that the purchase gives the university 120 acres of contiguous land between the College of Continuing and Professional Education and the university’s Sports and Recreation Park.
