KSU Grad First to Catch Melania's Trump Alleged Plagiarism

A self-described host, journalist and interior designer, Jarrett Hill has thrust himself into the national political spotlight.

A Kennesaw State University graduate has found himself in the middle of one of the biggest stories coming out of the Republican National Convention.

Jarrett Hill was the first person to note, via social media, a similarity between Melania Trump's speech on Monday night in Cleveland with a speech given by Michelle Obama in 2008:

On his Twitter feed, Hill describes himself as a "Host. Journalist. Interior Designer. DIY Enthusiast. Dope Cook. Carb-assassin. Mindfully daring greatly."

Hill has worked a variety of different jobs at different locations since his KSU days, according to the AJC. He worked as a production assistant and camera operator at 11 Alive from 2006-10; interned at a public relations firm and CNN, and then produced a Sirius/XM radio show before moving to Los Angeles in 2010. He's also worked for “America’s Next Top Model,” Celebrity Cruises, the “Ricki Lake Show” and Howie Mandel's reality show, "Deal With It." He's blogged for the Huffington Post and started his own interior design firm last year.
