KSU Offering Portuguese Class

Do you want to travel the world? Need a crash course in language skills? Portuguese for Business and Travel begins September 13 at KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education. This 5-week course is designed to provide you with language “survival skills” as you navigate a foreign country. Whether it’s for business or pleasure, this fast-track course will prepare you with vocabulary specific to travel and transportation, lodging, shopping, food and customs. Instructor Steve Merritt and his Brazilian-born wife have spent significant time in country and traveled throughout Brazil dozens of times over the past several decades. Steve brings the language and culture of Brazil alive, covering the most traveled areas of the country. The cost is $129, and classes are Sept. 13-Oct. 11 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturdays at KSU Center (3333 Busbee Drive in Kennesaw - not on main campus).
