KSU Offers Class to Celebrate Holidays in Style

Longtime interior decorator Jan Britt will present “Decorating with the Holidays” on Nov. 3 and 10 at KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education. Britt has in the business of home beauty and décor for more than 20 years.

“Any student, regardless of skill level, will love this class,” Britt said. “It’s a feeling of instant success – to see something that they have created. It’s so easy to learn. It will amaze them!”
Projects will include styling attractive centerpieces, creating decorative bows, and crafting gorgeous garlands. Attendees will also learn how to measure, calculate and securely attach materials.

In addition to elegance and flair, Britt will also guide students on cost-conscious decorating. She said, “It’s a wonderful opportunity for my students to be able to save money during Christmas because they are making gifts for their friends and family.”
The class meets Nov. 3 from 7-8:30 p.m. and Nov. 10 from 7-9:30 p.m. at KSU Center (3333 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144). The cost is $99. A supply list will be distributed at the first class.
