KSU has become a destination university. Last fall, we had 37,800 students enrolled.

For the second year in a row, Kennesaw State is enjoying record growth in enrollment
in its freshman class. A year ago, KSU's class of freshmen and transfer freshmen grew
more than 30% compared to the prior year. That record increase has been reached again,
as more than 8,100 freshmen in the Class of 2024 represent another boost of almost
25% over last year’s record-breaking class. This means that KSU has the largest freshman
class enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs in the state of Georgia.

Breaking down the numbers further, we are experiencing significant increases in enrollment
over last year in multiple areas, including:

  • KSU Journey Honors College with nearly 1,500 students, representing close to a 7%
    increase over last fall;
  • Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology with over 5,000
    students, representing a 5% increase;
  • College of Computing and Software Engineering with more than 4,500 students, representing
    an 11% increase;
  • Wellstar School of Nursing with more than 2,600 students, representing a 23% increase;
  • Michael J. Coles College of Business with almost 7,500 students, representing an almost
    4% increase; and
  • Graduate College with nearly 3,750 students, representing a nearly 13% increase.

The rising enrollment is, first and foremost, a reflection of the quality and dedication
of the faculty and staff who strive to create a university that places students first.
Students are seeing what Kennesaw State has to offer and are enthusiastically making
the choice to join the Owl family.
