Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Program to Begin June 5

Learn to properly implement this proven business management strategy to help your organization operate more efficiently

According to many business analysts and quality improvement experts, Lean Six Sigma is the most popular business performance methodology in the history of corporate development. At KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education, you can learn to properly implement this proven business management strategy to help your organization operate more efficiently.

“Part of my job is making sure that our projects are on time, on schedule and in the best state that they can be in,” said Alexandra Mortenson, program graduate. “Taking this course has really given me some tools to take back and really get our processes where they need to be so that we can be the best company that we can be.”

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate program offered at the college is an extension of the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. In this course, students will gain a deeper understanding of the principles and concepts of Lean Six Sigma. Topics of discussion include quality tools, measures of central tendency and dispersion, and the standard normal distribution. Lean Topics include 5S, Eight Wastes, Mistake Proofing and Visual Management.
