Man Wanted For 2001 Cobb Murder Finally Caught
The man had been on the run for over a decade, the FBI said.

A man suspected of involvement in a 2001 murder in Cobb County has finally been put behind bars, the FBI announced Thursday.
Noy Siharah, aka James Siharah, aka “Loonie” was wanted in connection to the May 12, 2001 killing of Somkid Phoumichit inside a Marietta apartment complex. The FBI said that one of the suspects in the gang-related shooting opened fire on the apartment with an assault rifle when he couldn’t find any rival gang members to attack; two bullets from that weapon struck Phoumichit and killed him almost instantly.
The other seven suspects in the case are facing felony murder charges in Cobb County, but Siharah had been considered a fugitive until his capture in Ellenwood on Thursday by Atlanta police and FBI agents. The 33-year-old hails from the Fresno/San Jose, CA, area.
